Workaround: Use "SDL Authentication"

To workaround this issue use the SDL Authentication when connecting to SDL Trados GroupShare 2017.
If you do not currently have SDL users, find in the SDL Documentation Center how to create a SDL User here:

Solution: Install SDL GroupShare 2017 Build 4979 (or higher) and SDL Trados Studio 2017 Cumulative Update 4 (or higher)

To enable Windows Authentication following requirements need to be given:

On server side: SDL GroupShare 2017 Build 4979 (or higher) needs to be installed
On client side: SDL Trados Studio 2017 Cumulative Update 4 (or higher) needs to be installed

In addition for Windows authentication to work on the SDL Trados GroupShare server, you need to set a Server Principal Name (SPN) to identify the account running Trados GroupShare services with the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the web application. Further information can be found here:

Root Cause
The SDL Development team is aware of this problem of the login using the Windows Authentication method and is working on a solution that will be addressed with the Cumulative Update 4 or 5 for SDL Trados Studio 2017.
