Symptoms/Context
Trying to login to Trados GroupShare 2015 through MultiTerm Administrator displays the following warning message:

Value cannot be null. Parameter name: usrCredentials

Resolution
Note: The workaround for the MultiTerm 2017 Administrator plugin is simpler and can be found here: Error when logging in to MultiTerm 2017 Administrator Plugin: Value cannot be null Parameter name: usrCredentials

Workaround: Delete 'SdlIdentityCredentials' and use 'Do not prompt me again' feature.

  1. Close all RWS applications.
  2. Go to: C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\Platform\Identity\DefaultDomain.
  3. Rename/delete the folder SdlIdentityCredentials.
  4. Open MultiTerm Administrator.
  5. Enter server address, credentials AND check the Do not prompt me again box.
Note: If you do not find the AppData folder on your computer, either enter %appdata%\Roaming\SDL\Platform\Identity\DefaultDomain into the address bar of your Windows Explorer or refer to KB article Showing hidden files, folders and extensions on Windows operating systems.

Note: If you do find that the folder does not exist (DefaultDomain), create it manually.

Root Cause
This behavior can be seen when connecting to Trados GroupShare via https://. The RWS Development team is aware of this problem and is working on a solution. Until a permanent solution is in place, you can apply the workaround described in the Resolution section.
