Trados Studio 2017, see the following list.
New features in WorldServer Components
Trados Studio now handles WorldServer packages in a similar way as it handles Trados Studio project packages. You can update local WorldServer packages with more recent versions of the same package, without having to create a separate project in Trados Studio. Before CU 5, the locale wasn’t displayed in front of the project attribute. With the previous feature, it was necessary to distinguish which attribute belonged to which locale/project from the project group; otherwise, they were overwritten and only the latest imported values were displayed.
Moreover, subsequent downloads from the same WorldServer project group with new or updated task files are merged or added to the existing Studio project. Translation memories, terminology databases, and project and task attributes are also updated or added to the same Studio project, while attribute names are prefixed with their corresponding target locale for clarity.

A cumulative update is automatically applied when you use the AutoUpdate functionality available in Trados Studio. AutoUpdate is turned on by default, so you will automatically be notified of the update as soon as it is available. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and apply the update.
NOTE: Applying the update may take some time, as the Trados Studio installation is analysed before the update to ensure the patch can be installed successfully. As a rule of thumb, applying the patch will take roughly the same time as installing the application. RWS recommends that you use AutoUpdate. However, you can also apply the patch manually, as follows:
- Close Trados Studio 2017.
- Download the ZIP file Studio2017_CU05.zip from our FTP site (Username: sdlpatches, password: 5dlpatch35).
- Extract the files to a temporary folder of your choice, such as C:\temp. The ZIP file applies to all editions of Trados Studio 2017 and may contain several MSP files.
- Double-click the MSP files in the ZIP archive. This will install the latest release and update the files in the Trados Studio 2017 installation folder as appropriate.
After the update release has been installed and Trados Studio restarted, the issues described in this article should no longer occur.
