TitleWorldServer - why are there tasks in 'Calculate repetitions' step in status 'Waiting for project scope' and not moving?
URL Name000010449
SummaryIf you look carefully, you will find at least one Task in a different status. Possibly an Autoerror or the Task is still segmenting. The "Calculate Repetitions" step is a project-scope step. It means that it requires all Tasks in a project to reach the same step and then the step will be completed. This is because Repetitions are calculated among all files, so all files/Tasks need to reach this step so it can be processed and completed.

Question
I have a project with several tasks. I can see them being in Calculate Repetitions and in status Waiting for project scope. Are they stuck? Why are they not moving?
Answer
If you look carefully, you will find at least one Task in a different status. Possibly an Autoerror or the Task is still segmenting.

The Calculate Repetitions step is a project-scope step. It means that it requires all Tasks in a project to reach the same step and then the step will be completed. This is because Repetitions are calculated among all files, so all files/Tasks need to reach this step so it can be processed and completed.

If the Task is in Autoerror, try to complete it or check the root cause, fix it and then complete the Auterror. If you cannot fix the error, create a Support case. SDL Support will help you.

You can also cancel the Task that is in a different step (i.e. Autoerror) if you want the project to continue.
