Question
How do I create and run Business Rules in WorldServer?
Answer

WorldServer provides a Rules Wizard with which you can create rules to automate project creation and notify users under specified circumstances.

The Rules Wizard is found at Management > Business Rule Linkage > Rules. You can use rules to reduce the amount of manual checking for changes to assets and to create projects automatically when changes are detected. You can create rules that detect when tasks are due or overdue and alert assignees and project managers accordingly. Rules keep the globalization process updated automatically, reducing the risk of human tracking errors.

Rules can be executed manually or on a recurring basis. A recurrence is a time schedule that you create in Management > Business Rule Linkage > Recurrences.

More details about Rules can be found in this section of our RWS Documentation Center.
