Where can I find the settings related to the Recurrence and Notification engines in WorldServer?
Answer
To check if the Recurrence and Notification engines are set up correctly or are activated in your WorldServer environment, open the general.properties file. The location of this file depends on the WorldServer version. In a 10.4.X environment, it will be located in the tomcat directory.

In a WorldServer 11.x, the general.properties file is located as described in this article: Configuring .properties files starting from WorldServer 11.

The relevant values in the general.properties file is in this section:

# Engine & Daemon Settings
recurrence_engine=on
notification_engine=on

Per default, the Recurrence and Notification engines should be on. In a clustered environment, they should be on only on one of the clustered server.
