This KB article describes how to (re)start the Trados GroupShare 2014/2015 services.
Resolution

Restarting the Trados GroupShare services

 

Option A: Restart Services via Trados GroupShare Console

Important: Restarting the services temporarily makes the Trados GroupShare server unavailable to users. It is strongly recommended that users are not actively working with resources on the Trados GroupShare server when the services are restarted.
  1. Log into the machine where Trados GroupShare is installed (more specifically, the application server)
  2. Open the Trados GroupShare Console
  3. Go to Console Root > Trados GroupShare > Services
  4. Press Restart Services 
 

Option B: Restart Services via Microsoft Services Console

Important: Restarting the services temporarily makes the GroupShare server unavailable to users. It is strongly recommended that users are not actively working with resources on the GroupShare server when the services are restarted.
  1. Log into the machine where GroupShare is installed (more specifically, the application server)
  2. Press [Windows Key + R] or (Right-)Click Start > Run..., or press [Windows Key + R] on the Server machine.
  3. In the Run dialog box, type: services.msc
  4. Click OK to open the Windows Services console.
  5. Right-click following services and select Restart/Start for each:
  • SDL Application Service
  • SDL Execution Service (if present)
  • SDL MultiTerm Matrix Cache Service (if present)
