Summary[Trados Studio, Multiterm, Groupshare, Passolo] This article provides an overview of announcements about the date and the product versions for which we no longer offer engineering and technical support.
Reference

We are constantly reviewing and improving our products. We release new versions for our products with new features, patches or hotfixes to fix problems reported in current products. This means that different version numbers and build numbers may exist for each product, and that older versions of products may no longer be supported.  If you wish to receive support for any Trados products, please upgrade to the latest version of your product.

Trados Studio & MultiTerm

  • Trados Studio 2019 (including all SPs and CUs) & MultiTerm Desktop 2019 (including all SPs and CUs)

  • Engineering and technical support for Trados Studio 2019 and MultiTerm  Desktop 2019 will end on December 31, 2022. Since this date, services covered under standard maintenance agreements - including technical support, updates and new patches - are no longer available.
    Machine Translation offered previously through SDL Language Cloud and currently through Language Weaver cannot be activated for Trados Studio 2019 licenses, after December 31 2022. In order to benefit from Language Weaver Free machine translation offering please upgrade to the latest version of Trados Studio 2022. Machine Translation was part of the offering until 31 December 2022. 

    Services will continue for Trados Studio 2021 and higher.

General Note


If this change affects you, we encourage you to begin migration plans soon and upgrade your software before support ends. Customers with active support and maintenance contracts receive software updates and the new license free of charge. The actual work needed to upgrade a GroupShare server may be chargeable and we may require that to be performed by Professional Services. Always check with your Sales Account Manager or RWS Support if you are unsure.
