All out-of-the-box reports that include a start and end date fail to run if the date consists of the year 2025. There are no issues with dates up until December 31, 2024. This issue applies to ALL WorldServer versions and both SQL and Oracle-based environments. We have checked back to version 11.7.3.

No reports including a date after 2024 can be run.

To reproduce the issue, run any of the Jasper reports, entering a start and/or end date based on the current year. You will see the error, and the report cannot be run. Try, for instance, Throughput Project Details or Translation Cost by Project and Locale. You will see the error when entering a start and/or an end date in 2025. The button Apply will not work.

If you change the date to the year 2024 or earlier, there is no issue and the report can be run.

This issue will be fixed in WorldServer 11.8.4.

In previous versions, this is the workaround:

1- Log in to WorldServer as an Administrator user with all permissions enabled. If you are not ad Administrator, you will not be able to apply the required changes.
2- Go to Tools > Report Center
3- Go to View/Repository

4- Select Worldserver > Datatypes, select Date and click on Edit


 

5- Change the Maximum value to a future date like December 31st, 2030 and click Save:



6- Go back to the Library page and your report. The End Date will now display correctly, and you can run it without issues.


 

This wrong behaviour is a defect affecting all versions of WorldServer before 11.8.4. The defect ID is: CRQ-41056.
