Flow is slow when performing certain actions such as creating requests/quotes or searching

When booking a new assignment into Flow, sometimes it takes a very long time to select a contact person from specfic customers.
Often the system appears not to be creating, approving or deleting a quote. Looking at the projects it seems that the system is creating or otherwise processing the quote but is taking a very long time to do so.
Can something be done about the performance of the Flow system?
1. If you are using a version a Flow that is below version 7.0.22027.1, consider upgrading Flow to the latest version to benefit from database performance improvements made in version 7.0.22027.1.
2. If your instance of Flow is not hosted by RWS, ask a database administrator to ensure that your database indexes are rebuilt and reorganized regularly.
1. There are database indexes that are missing in versions below 7.0.22027.1. Upgrading Flow to the latest version will add these indexes and improve the overall performance of the database.
2. Database indexes may be highly fragmented which impacts the overall performance of the database.
