In Web 8.5, after publishing successfully, the changes are reflecting on website but the status is not changing in the 'publishing queue'

Web 8.5
Symptoms/Context
In the publishing queue, it still shows "waiting for deployment" though the new changes was reflected on the website. The publishing queue does not reflect the correct publishing status.
Resolution
Issue resolved after rebooting the Content Manager server
