What is a Language Cloud Service User and how it can be used?
A service user is a special user created when developing custom applications that integrate with the LC Public API. It is intended to represent a non-human user that has no login credentials (SDLID) and can only access Language Cloud via the Public API.
Service users are defined and managed by admins within a tenant. Access to resources within the tenant is granted by assigning service users to groups that have specific roles, similarly to regular users.
Service users are assigned to applications. Whenever a 3rd party client authenticates with the application credentials, calls against the Public API will assume the identity of the service user within the platform for the purpose of authorizing access to data.
