Language Weaver Edge - What is the difference between TNMV vs. TNM?

Language Weaver Edge
Question
Our client updated their GerEng LP from Language_Weaver_Edge_GerEng_Generic_SRV_TNMV_8_5_x_5 to Language_Weaver_Edge_GerEng_Generic_SRV_TNM_8_5_x_8

Could you confirm what the difference between the "TNMV" and "TNM" naming indicates if anything? Thank you.
Answer
The V stands for Vocabulary Selection. This feature was introduced with the CPU support for NMT Language Pairs in Edge version 8.2 (the product was still called ETS at that time) and was designed to offer good performance when running on the CPU.

As we keep improving our models and technology, this specific feature is no longer required, and we will remove it for most of the language pairs moving forward.
From a customer perspective, there is no feature or quality loss and more importantly, the latest TNM LPs will offer higher quality.
