SDL Instant Translation Plugin (also known as Salesforce Connector) - Instant translation not working in SalesForce with error Service Unavailable

When using the SDL Instant Translation plugin in SafesForce, users are unable to use the app even with a valid license. The error Service Unavailable Organisational Wide Translation Setting is turned Off. Please enable it for translationis seen.
After checking the settings for the SDL Instant Translation plugin, the setting Turn on for the entire organization is checked.
Users are also not seeing the interface for the plugin when highlighting text in SaleForce.
Additionally in another case, the users were seeing the above, and also:
In one case, the resolution was: A SalesForce Admin will need to enable the Be-Global Dictionaries and Be-Global Language Pairs permissions for the users impacted.
In another case, the resolution was the license for the Salesforce Connector had to be extended. After it was extended, the users still could not do translations and the following allowed them to do translations successfully:
1. check the basic settings in the connector and remove the trailing slash from the URL. It should be: https://translate-api.sdlbeglobal.com with no trailing slash 2. click Save Basic Settings 3. scroll down to the language pairs and click refresh language pairs 4. save language pairs
In one case, user permission settings were missing for those impacted. Settings specific for the SDL Instant Translation Plugin to be used include Be-Global Dictionaries and Be-Global Language Pairs.
Another case, the resolution was: the license of Language Weaver Cloud had been extended but the Salesforce Connector had not been updated.
