When creating a project, I receive an error like:
Cannot create project group (covers java.lang.SecurityException: write permission on /work/SDL/Projects denied'
Note: the path will vary!
The Access Control (Change ACL) permisson of the directory/folder indicated in the error message is granted for a workflow role of which the user is not part of, or to specific users and the user is not one of them. This can be verified in the View and Change Properties page under
Management > Asset Interface System > View and Change Properties
Enable the Access Control (Change ACL) column to view the permission.
Check if the user encountering the issue has Access Control (Change ACL) to the folder. If not, adapt her/his permission in his/her user settings, i.e. by adding the Workflow Role to which the access is granted to his settings.
Alternatively, change the permission settings in the View and Change Properties page to include the user. This changes should be done by the customer or by an administrator with permission to change configurations.
