Per default,
Browser Workbench displays a maximum
1000 rows/segments in one page. Bigger files with more that 1000 segments will be displayed in 2 or more pages. The reason for this default value is to make sure that a page is loaded as quickly as possible. The higher the number of rows to be loaded, the longer it will take for the page to load them.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see the option to move to the next page and see the remaining segments. In the example below, since the file contains over 8000 segments, you will see 9 available pages. If your file contains between 1000 and 2000 segments, you will see 2 pages etc.
Click on
Next to move to the next page. We suggest that you save your work (click on the
Save button) before moving to the next page).
You can also use the segment filter to display only segments in a certain status. For instance, your file might contain segments in
Reviewed status, in
Pending Review staus or
Not-Translated. You can use the filter to display only segments in one of the available status to reduce the number of segments to be displayed..
As an example: instead of displaying
All segments, you could display all in
Pending Review as displayed below. In this example, there are only 996 segments in
Pending Review. They will all be displayed in one page.
You can change the number of segments to be loaded in one page by modifying the below entry in
general.properties to the number needed.
view_all_page_row_limit=1000change to, for instance:
view_all_page_row_limit=2000After the value has been updated, save the
general.properties file and restart the
Idiom service on the server where
WorldServer is installed. Now the Browser Workbench will display 2000 segments in one page.
