You have installed SDL Trados Studio and/or SDL MultiTerm without any issues. However, when opening the application or when trying to open a file or a project, one of the following error messages occurs (the list is not exhaustive):
This may happen if some of the user settings files for SDL Trados Studio or for SDL MultiTerm are damaged or are not correctly copied into the relevant folders. This may also happen if there are Microsoft Windows updates pending - the installation for SDL Trados Studio or SDL MultiTerm is not correctly done because the operating system is not up to date.
Another reason for such errors is, if either only Studio or MultiTerm have been updated to the same Service Release (SR).For instance only Studio 2019 has been updated to SR1 but not MultiTerm 2019.
Update Microsoft WindowsCheck for any pending updates for your Microsoft Windows operating system and make sure they are installed. Click on this link for more information about how to update Windows:
